Churchville-Chili Career Day 2025: Inspiring the Next Generation of Healthcare Leaders

Every year, we look forward to one of our favorite community events: Career Day at Churchville-Chili High School. Dr. Sam Camarata, owner of Camarata Chiropractic & Wellness, and Dr. Jeremy, Clinical Director of Lattimore Physical Therapy of North Chili, returned once again as guest speakers for the ninth-grade class.

Both Dr. Sam and Dr. Jeremy are proud 2007 graduates of Churchville-Chili. Their story runs even deeper: they grew up together, played tee ball together, and were coached by their fathers side-by-side. Today, they stand together as healthcare professionals serving the same community where they were raised.

Why This Year Was Extra Special

This year carried an extra layer of meaning for Dr. Sam. His oldest son, AJ, is now a ninth grader at Churchville-Chili — and was able to sit in on career day during class! This made career day 2025 truly memorable!

For Dr. Sam, it was a full-circle moment: returning as the community chiropractor, a small business owner, and now a parent — inspiring not only the next generation, but his own son as well.

Giving Back to the Community That Raised Us

Participating in Career Day each year is more than an event for us — it is a commitment. We believe in pouring back into the next generation, showing students firsthand that they can build meaningful, impactful careers right here in their own community.

Our goal is always the same:
To educate, inspire, and empower young students to dream big, stay curious, and realize that their future holds endless opportunities.

Careers in Chiropractic and Physical Therapy

During our presentation, we shared what a day in the life looks like as chiropractors and physical therapists. Students learned about:

• How the human body heals and adapts

• What chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy techniques do at a deeper level

• The rewarding nature of helping patients get out of pain and restore their quality of life

• The many directions these fields can take — sports performance, rehabilitation, wellness, pediatrics, neurology, and more

We emphasized that a career in chiropractic or physical therapy is more than a job. It is a calling. It is an opportunity to change lives, serve others, and contribute positively to the health of your community.

Bringing Energy, Education, and Engagement

We kept the room lively with interactive Q&A, hands-on demonstrations, and plenty of enthusiasm. To make things even more fun, we held trivia challenges and gave away Croc charms and Camarata Chiropractic tee shirts. The students were fully engaged, asked great questions, and showed genuine interest in how the human body works.

Seeing young minds light up when they learn about the power of the nervous system, biomechanics, and natural healing is exactly why we continue doing this every year.

A Rewarding Path With Purpose

One message we wanted every student to take away is this:

A career in chiropractic or physical therapy is one of the most rewarding paths you can choose.

Every day, we wake up excited to help someone:

• Get out of pain

• Avoid unnecessary surgery and drugs

• Improve mobility

• Optimize their performance

• Stay healthy and active

• Regain control of their life

There are few professions where you witness transformation like this daily. It is an honor to serve our community in this way.
