Camarata Chiropractic Takes Golf Performance to Brook-Lea Country Club’s Men’s Invitational

Published August 15th, 2026 by Camarata Chiropractic

Chiropractic Care. Better Movement. Better Golf.

What an incredible two days at Brook-Lea Country Club!

A HUGE shout-out to Mario and the entire team at Brook-Lea Country Club for hosting an outstanding Men’s Invitational and for collaborating with our team at Camarata Chiropractic & Wellness to bring on-site chiropractic care, golf warm-ups, mobility, and performance directly to the golfers.

On Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14, 2026, our Camarata Chiropractic team was set up right at the driving range from 7:00 AM–1:00 PM, helping Brook-Lea members and their guests get their bodies ready before heading out for their rounds.

And the response was incredible!

We had an absolute blast, and it was awesome seeing how much the golfers appreciated having chiropractic care and golf-specific movement preparation available right at the course.

The Body-Swing Connection: Your Body Is Part of Your Golf Equipment

One of the biggest concepts we discussed throughout the weekend was something every golfer needs to understand:

Your golf swing is directly influenced by how your body moves.

Golf is an incredibly complex athletic movement requiring mobility, stability, coordination, balance, strength, power, and proper sequencing throughout the entire body.

If your hips aren't moving well, your spine may compensate.

If your thoracic spine lacks rotation, another area may be forced to create that movement.

If your shoulders are restricted, your swing mechanics may change.

If you're dealing with pain or stiffness, your nervous system and body may naturally develop compensatory movement patterns.

This is the Body-Swing Connection.

You can spend countless hours working on your swing, but if your body physically cannot move the way your golf swing requires, you may continue fighting against limitations every time you address the ball.

That is why we believe golf performance isn't just about the swing.

It's about the golfer.

Helping Golfers Move, Feel and Perform Better

Throughout the Invitational, we worked with golfers dealing with a variety of common complaints and movement restrictions, including:

  • Neck pain and stiffness
  • Shoulder issues
  • Low back pain
  • Mid-back stiffness
  • Muscle tightness
  • Hip pain and restricted mobility
  • Hamstring tightness
  • Calf tightness
  • Sciatica
  • General stiffness and mobility restrictions

Our goal before their rounds was simple:

Help their bodies move and function better so they could step onto the first tee feeling ready to play.

Through chiropractic care and golf-specific movement preparation, we were able to help players experience improvements in areas such as pain relief, mobility, movement quality, power, and recovery.

For some golfers, even a noticeable improvement in rotation or mobility allowed them to immediately feel a difference when they returned to the driving range and swung the club.

That's what makes bringing this type of care directly to the golf course so exciting.

GolfForever Warm-Ups Before the Round

We also had the GolfForever Swing Trainer on-site with us throughout the event.

This allowed us to demonstrate resistance-based exercises and movement patterns golfers can incorporate into their warm-up before playing.

Rather than grabbing a driver, taking a few swings and heading straight to the first tee, golfers can prepare their bodies for the rotational forces, speed and athletic demands they're about to experience.

A quality golf warm-up should help prepare the hips, spine, shoulders, core and nervous system for movement.

The goal isn't to exhaust yourself before the round.

The goal is to prepare your body to perform.

Many Golfers Already Understand the Value of Chiropractic

Something else we loved seeing at Brook-Lea was how many golfers told us that chiropractic care was already part of their regular health and wellness routine.

For many of them, chiropractic wasn't something they sought only when they were hurting.

They utilize maintenance chiropractic care because they understand the importance of taking care of their bodies for mobility, recovery, pain relief, performance and longevity in the game they love.

But we also met golfers who had never been to a chiropractor before.

Some walked up to our tables simply because they were curious.

They may have been dealing with stiffness, tightness or an area that just didn't feel like it was moving properly.

After their first chiropractic experience, it was awesome seeing their reactions when they stood up, moved around and then picked up their golf clubs again.

Several were excited by how different their bodies — and even their swings — felt afterward.

Golfers Invest in Their Equipment. Don't Forget Your Most Important Asset.

Golfers will spend hundreds — and in many cases thousands — of dollars on:

New drivers.

New irons.

Putters.

Golf balls.

Technology.

Lessons.

Swing analysis.

Training aids.

Club fittings.

All of those things can absolutely have value.

But there is one piece of equipment you cannot replace:

YOUR BODY.

Your body produces the golf swing.

Your body creates rotation.

Your body creates speed.

Your body transfers force.

Your body absorbs force.

And your body has to recover so you can come back and do it again.

Invest in your clubs. Invest in your lessons. Invest in your equipment. But don't forget to invest in the golfer using all of it.
